     Choose one poem or a group of poems (by one or several authors).  Write a research paper giving your own analysis and interpretation of the poem or poems.

     Fifty percent of the research project grade will be based on the work-in-progress:

• an initial works-cited page
• at least ten summaries of sources
• an abstract

     The other fifty percent will be based on the polished, eight-page minimum (typed, double-spaced) paper.  The polished paper must include a works-cited page listing at least ten sources.

     The research project folder must include both the work-in-progress and the research paper.
