Research project 1: Analyze and Interpret Sylvia Plath's "Daddy" and "Lady Lazarus."

                                  Write a five page minimum research paper.  Provide a works cited list of at least five sources.

                                  Explore a theme shared by both poems.

Research project 1 assignments:

A. summaries of sources: find at least five sources; write a one page summary of the main ideas of each research material; state the thesis and describe how the thesis is developed; provide a works cite page

B. abstract: write a one page summary of your thesis and thesis points

C. research paper: at least five pages; provide a works cited page listing at least five sources

June 11: Abstract and summaries of sources due

June 18: Research project 1 folder due: at least five summaries of sources; abstract; five page minimum research paper, with a works cited page listing at least five sources
