Welcome to the Cerritos College
Automotive Department
The Cerritos College Automotive Department is dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in the automotive industry through training and hands-on experience. Instructors provide students with real-world skills in diagnostics, repair and maintenance across a wide range of vehicle systems. Our college has partnerships with General Motors (GM ASEP) and Ford Motor Company (Ford ASSET) to offer cohort-based brand specific technician training.
Whether you're pursuing a certificate, associate degree, or planning to transfer to a four-year institution, our programs are designed to meet the evolving demands of the automotive field.
Cerritos College offers dual enrollment with Artesia High School. With dual enrollment, high school students can take college classes where they receive both college units and high school credit.
The Advanced Transportation and Logistics program (ATL) was created as a means for keeping California competitive as a national leader in advanced transportation and energy technologies. Cerritos College is the host site for Advanced Transportation and Logistics.
