Workshops to help you prepare for the Job Fair:

• Resume Writing Basics: Tuesday, Feb. 19, 11-12pm, LA 24 & Thursday, Feb 21, 6-7 pm, LA 25
                      En Espaņol:   Sabado, Feb. 23, 11 am-12:30 pm y Jueves, Feb. 28, 6 pm-7:30 pm, Salon HS 105

• Job Fair Success: Wednesday, Feb. 27, 10-11 am, LC 134 & Thursday, Feb 28, 6-7 pm, LA 25

The 38th Career Expo and Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 6, 2008, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in front of the library.
It is open to Cerritos College students and to the general public. Please Bring copies of your resume!

Students will be able to talk to recruiters, learn about the companies, job opportunities and openings with different companies
in the following fields:

Law Enforcements, Journalism and Clerical & Light Industrial, Staff Agencies

The event attracts more than 300 students and community members.

Free Admission and Free Parking, the public is welcome!

·         Network with recruiters/employers and obtain business cards

·         Learn about critical skills and soft skills needed in the workplace

·         Get tips and suggestions on resume and interviewing skills from recruiters

Bring your resume for a professional review and tips. You may drop your resume off at the Job Placement Office and
pick it up in seven days.

Computer Lab Available

A computer lab is available to students to create or update their resume.  We also have computer lab assistants available
to help you with the use of the computers.
