California is home to more manufacturers than any other state in the union. With over
1.4 million high-paying jobs, California manufacturers are important drivers to the
country's innovation, investment, and productivity. Manufacturing is also a huge job
multiplier, with estimates that between 2 to 7 non-manufacturing jobs are created
for each manufacturing job. The continued success of California's manufacturers remains
critical to the health of both our state and national economies.
