Alicia Rosas

Office Specialist

My name is Alicia Rosas, and it has been a pleasure to be working at the Child Development Center as the Office Specialist. Ever since I was in 8th grade, I knew I wanted to be an Early Childhood Educator. I volunteered throughout all my high school years with children from 3 to 5 years old. When I was in college, I choose to do my Practicum class here at the Cerritos College Child Development Center. It was one of the best experiences I ever had, and I fell in love with the Reggio Emilia Approach. I was offered the opportunity to start working at the Child Development Center in May 2012.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development in May 2015. I hope to soon be able to continue my education by getting a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I am honored to be the Office Specialist at the Child Development Center. Being able to form relationships with all the children, families, staff, faculty and all the college students is one of the most rewarding gifts I have received. I always try my very best to greet everyone with a smile and I try and support anyone who visits the Center. I am truly grateful to be a part of the Child Development Center Family. Thank you!
