PeopleSoft Patches & Fixes for 2/17/04 - 7/2/04

 

  1. Copy SA801PRD to QA (new database)
  2. Freeze production of any change migrations
  3. Setup QA security from SA801TST
  4. Apply patches in QA
  5. Technical testing in QA
  6. Functional testing in QA until August 12th
  7. Notify Payroll & H/R with regards to patching Production
  8. Run Project Compare Reports between DMO & DEV
  9. Analyze results w/ Mike W. & Programmers & wait for OK from Mike W.
  10. Backup security for CNV, TST, & DEV by Thursday night
  11. Programmers:  Make sure all projects are in DEV (not TST) by Thursday night!
  12. Backup DEV & PRD
  13. Programmers: move your phase 1 projects* (excluding conversion projects) from DEV to QA
  14. Patching of DEV beginning on Friday, August 13, 2004
  15. Patching of PRD beginning on Saturday
  16. Restore DEV as TEMPDEV
  17. Restore TST as TEMPTST & keep off-line
  18. Copy patched PRD to DEV, CNV, & TST
  19. Notify Al via email when patching is complete
  20. Al will start conversion in TST, DEV, & CNV
  21. Monday morning Gilbert will restore security for CNV, TST & DEV
  22. Programmers: move your projects from TEMPDEV (not TEMPTST!) to DEV
  23. Programmers: migrate your projects from DEV (not TEMPTST!) to TST
  24. Create a PRE instance from PRD on the production hardware
