Looking Back at the Best Moments of 2021

What a Year! Cerritos College begins the spring semester with a look at its best moments of 2021. Despite another year of unprecedented challenges due to the global pandemic, Cerritos College made a lot of exciting progress toward student success in 2021. The College received a $1M gift commitment to establish the first community college endowed Jain scholar, and served more than 9,000 families through its monthly food drives, to name a few. Rajmohan Gandhi

Grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Historian Rajmohan Gandhi, to Speak on Legacy

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, renowned historian Rajmohan Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, will lead a discussion titled, "Gandhi and King: Was Their Dream a Mirage?" remembering the legacy of both human rights giants. The Zoom event will take place on Tuesday, January 11 at 11 a.m. and is presented by the Cerritos College Foundation and the Bhagavan Kunthunath Endowed Scholar of Jain Thought Leadership at Cerritos College...Link to the full story about Gandhi

College Forgives $1.3M in Unpaid Fees to Help Students Stay in School

Community college students are among the most severely affected by financial hardships exasperated by COVID-19. When Sante Colbert started college in 2007, he was still short a few high school credits. A former foster youth, he attended both Los Angeles Harbor College and Pierce College simultaneously. Walk-In COVID Testing

Walk-in COVID testing clinic in the Student Health Services is open to Cerritos College students and employees.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
