Annual ASCC Leadership Retreat a Great Success

ASCC hosted its annual Leadership Retreat from January 4-6 at the UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead. Sixty students learned and practiced leadership skills through workshops, panel discussions, and networking with campus leaders in a three-day residential retreat.

Mixers Welcome New and Returning Students to New Semester

Welcome mixers for various student groups were held January 9-12. New and returning students had the opportunity to meet fellow students, allies, mentors, staff and faculty members to kick off the semester with free food and refreshments.

Dual Enrollment Students to Host E-Waste Collection Event in Cypress

Receiving the success of the first e-waste collection at Cerritos College in September 2022, the nonprofit organization Teens Against E-waste will co-host another free E-waste Collection Event with Oxford Academy on Saturday, January 21, from 8:30- 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Oxford Academy (5172 Orange Ave., Cypress) Please email teens.against.ewaste@gmail.com for more information.
