Dr. JoAnna Schilling’s Strong Message Kicks off Women’s History Month

A familiar face kicked off the College’s 2023 Women’s History Month celebration. Cypress College President Dr. JoAnna Schilling, former Vice President of Academic Affairs at Cerritos College, presented on women in leadership roles and spoke about the importance of diverse leadership to make the world a better place for all. She stressed the need to fight for women’s rights to take control of their education and work, which is going to be our down payment to the future of women’s rights.  The Women's History Month virtual student art exhibit is now open. For more WHM events, view the event calendar or flyer.
