Jacki Scott Sworn in as New Student Trustee
New Student Trustee Jacki Scott was sworn in by President/Superintendent Dr. Jose Fierro during the board meeting of the Cerritos College Board of Trustees on Wednesday, June 21. As student trustee, Jacki plans to find ways to encourage student success in and out of school. The accounting major is actively involved on campus, having served on the ASCC cabinet and lobbying state legislators for key campus initiatives.
Dr. Elizabeth Riley and Pamela Sepulveda Named Managers of the Year
The Association for Cerritos College Management Employees (ACCME) has named Dr. Elizabeth Riley and Pamela Sepulveda as the recipients of the 14th annual Outstanding Manager Awards. The awards recognize a classified manager and an academic manager who have significantly contributed to Cerritos College through their leadership, involvement, and support of student success, instruction, student services, college operations, community involvement, and employee development.
