Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Did you know that Cerritos College has 12 electric vehicle charging stations for public use? The stations are in parking lots 2 (currently unavailable due to construction), 4, and 10. For $0.36 per kilowatt hour, electric vehicle owners can charge their vehicles at the College. The campus has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 11,254 kilograms in three years through electric vehicle charging.
The College Tour Blue Carpet Premiere coming to Cerritos College Performing Arts Center
Cerritos College is featured in the Amazon Prime series The College Tour and will host a blue carpet premiere event on September 19 in its new Performing Arts Center. The episode is set to air on Amazon Prime in October. The legendary Los Angeles artist Gronk is at the Cerritos College Art Gallery on multiple platforms from August 28 – October 6. The Gallery presents his solo exhibition Stock Footage and Outtakes: A Selection of Works by Gronk. The collection primarily presents the artist as illustrator and painter. College seeks applicants for Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee
The Cerritos Community College District is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. This committee was established to oversee the expenditure of money for the construction, repair, and modernization of campus projects. This committee ensures that the bond proceeds are expended only for the purposes set forth in both Measure G and Measure CC and that no bond proceeds are used for teacher or administrative salaries or other operating expenses...
