Requirements

Text:   Chief Automotive Systems, Inc. "Computerized Measuring Training - CMT" (available on campus)

Supplies:

·         Two 3.5" Double Sided High Density IBM formatted diskettes

Computer Access:

·         Students must have access to the Internet.
Access is available in Cerritos College computer labs.

·         Acquire a Hotmail e-mail account available at www.hotmail.com . This account is required to establish consistency in the e-mail techniques and tools used in this course.

Projects and activities:

·         Students will be required to complete assignments using Genesis/ Velocity software made available from Chief in class, from either work, home or campus computers. Assignments will be e-mailed to the instructor as attachment files. Hands-on learning activities will take place on-campus using full-sized vehicles and the Velocity Computer measuring system with laser scanner and targets as used in industry repair facilities.

Expectations

It is expected that you will participate actively by maintaining communication with the instructor via e-mail, viewing online presentations from class website, submitting assignments according to due dates listed on the syllabus / assignment list, completing assigned readings as listed on the syllabus / assignment list, and responding to requests/questions by the instructor in a timely manner via e-mail.
