The Women Hold Up Half the Sky Conference is a network of L.A. and Orange County Colleges. Keynote Speakers are Mark Fronke, Certified Public Accountant, and Cerritos College Accounting/Finance Instructor, and Linda Rose, President of L.A. Southwest College, former Cerritos College Dean and Instructor and former VP of Santa Ana College!

The registration deadline is Friday, April 24! Please view the attached flyer/registration link. Advance payments are NOT required. There are some limited funds for several students to attend. Senior Preview Day, scheduled on Friday, April 24, 2015, is an "open house" showcasing Cerritos College's beautiful campus, academic/vocational programs, student services, student life, and athletic programs to high school seniors. Attendees are provided with a free lunch and entertainment--Cerritos College's very own Pop Ensemble. Booths hosted on Falcon Square provide valuable information to students and create an opportunity where students engage with Cerritos College faculty, staff, and students. Any of the following can impact your eligibility to receive financial aid:
- F, NP, or W grades

- Taking more units/classes than you need for your educational goal

Come learn:
- How much financial aid you have left
- If your financial aid might be stopped soon
- What your options are

During these workshops, you will get hands-on experience calculating GPA and completion rates, and learn what do to either remain in or regain good standing with financial aid.
