What is at A? What is at B? What is at C?
A is a marshy area that has an arcuate shape. It looks like a meander. What do we call a meander that has been filled in with vegetation? A meander marsh.
B is the stretch of stream between the two ends of an oxbow lake. This is a cutoff.
C is the oxbow lake.

What do the arrows point to?
These features are arcuate ridges located on the inside of a meander. Such features are referred to as point bars.
