Our Finance Courses

We offer the following courses in our Finance Department:

BUSF 50 - Electronic Calculators/Business Applications
Students learn how to use the electronic display calculators, and perform common
business calculations and computations.  Business math and computations are emphasized.

BUSF 125 - Personal Finance
This class introduces the students to the basics of finance.  Learn how
much life insurance costs, how to get the best credit
card rates, how to shop for mortgage rates, how to
diversify your portfolio, how to track stocks, and
how to plan for your retirement.  This class is now offered

BUSF 126 - Intro to the Stockmarket
Learn how to invest in the stockmarket.  Find out about
the different investment vehicles and how you can
make your money grow quickly. 

BUSF 51 - Retirement Planning and Investing
Learn how to plan NOW for your retirement.  This class is offered
in nine-week sessions and concentrates on the use of
mutual funds as the primary investment vehicle.
