Cerritos College Department of Earth Science On-Line Tutorial Center
Glacial erosion, transportation and deposition produces some of the most dramatic and distinctive landscapes found on the surface of the earth. Recognition of glacial topography allows geologists to map the distribution of ice sheets in the recent geological past.
Most of our courses in earth science, geology and geography which cover glaciers are roughly comparable in their depth of coverage, and thus we've provided a single tutorial for all courses. Check with you instructor if you have questions about whether you are responsible for identifying particular landforms.
