View an off campus exhibition space currently housing a show with photographs. Write a one to two page review. This piece of writing should demonstrate that not only have you observed the exhibition, but also considered the works personal, cultural, and social import. Identify the photographic discourse the exhibition locates. Be prepared to discuss the show you saw in class.

Assignment Objective:
This assignment is intended to strengthen the student's capacity to appreciate, as well as think, speak, and write critically about photographic art. It is also an opportunity to inspire ideas for the final project.

Suggestions:
Visit several exhibitions and write more than one review for extra credit. Feel free to write about something you like or dislike. If you are not a skilled writer get help.
