Then EOPS Summer Bridge is for YOU!

Get a jumpstart into college life!

EOPS Summer Bridge is a college transition program that will not only prepare you for college,  but will help you establish strong relationships with counselors, staff members, and other students before entering the Fall semester.  Participating in Summer Bridge will cover your books & supplies, plus upon completion of Summer Bridge, you will receive $200!

The EOPS Summer Bridge program consists of the following courses:

COUNSELING 200 - Success in College & Career  (3 units, hybrid course) 

July 3rd to August 8th  (six weeks).  
Class meets Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person 9am-11:50am, and remaining work is done online. (Transfer Credit: CSU; UC)

ENGLISH 100 - Freshman Composition (4 units, hybrid course)

July 3rd to August 8th  (six weeks).  
Class meets Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person 12:30pm-2:30pm, and remaining work is done online. (Transfer Credit: CSU; UC)

When participating in Summer Bridge, students will receive early admissions into our EOPS program, where you will receive services such as:

  • EOPS Grants
  • Book Assistance
  • EOPS Counselors
  • Priority Registration
  • EOPS Tutors (math, writing)
  • Lending library (books, graphing calculators)
  • Computer Lab Access with printing
  • Designated Study Space
  • Access to EOPS Specialists for assistance/resources
  • Transfer Assistance
  • Cap & Gown (upon graduation)
