CalWorks
The Cerritos College CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) Program provides comprehensive support services to parenting students receiving cash aid to complete their educational and career goals.
Career Services
The Cerritos College Career Services supports students in making meaningful career decisions as they move into, through, and out of the college. We do this by providing resources, programs, and services that empower students to engage in intentional major and career exploration, cultivate a sense of purpose, develop career readiness skills, and take strategic action to achieve career success in diverse, global communities.
EOPS
Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) is a state funded program designed to go above and beyond other services offered on campus. EOPS is a student support program that provides academic and developmental services to students who face social and economic barriers.
CARE
The C.A.R.E program (Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education program) provides resources and support necessary for disadvantaged, single, head of household, CalWORKs/TANF recipients.
C.A.R.E. provides a variety of supports, to improve the students' educational opportunities and seek to enhance their employability, minimize their welfare dependency, and establish self-sufficiency through enrollment and completion of a degree or job training program.
LINC/NextUp
LINC/NextUP is a support program designed to link foster youth with support services on and off the college campus to ensure a successful transition from foster care to adulthood.
Falcons Nest
The Falcon's Nest provides centralized support services for students facing basic need insecurities. This is accomplished through access to on and off campus resources, community collaboration, and advocacy that ensures a student's educational success.
UndocuFalcons
The UndocuFalcon Scholars Program (USP) provides a safe space and support to Undocumented/Dreamer/AB540 and mix-status students at Cerritos College. Its goal is to empower undocumented students and address their needs through resources and services that enhance and support their academic, career and personal journey.
The program offers guidance, resources, financial aid and scholarship application assistance, immigration legal services, mental health services, informational sessions related to immigration policies, and workshops that center the undocumented experience.
