Essay Assignments: Each essay must meet the minimum length requirements listed in order to earn a passing grade. Essays must be typed in the format outlined in class. If you submit an essay that is not typed in the correct format, the essay will be returned to you un-graded. The essay must include a draft and revised final version in order to earn credit. Remember to use the resources available to you. There are tutors and instructors available in the Writing Center to help you with your grammar, mechanics, and organization. It has been my experience that students who make good use of this resource typically get higher grades on their essays than those who are unable to make the time. ** Note: The minimum requirements are just that—minimums. You can certainly write more than the minimum. English 20
