General

A graphing calculator is required for each of my courses except Elementary Algebra, Prealgebra, and Basic Mathematics, where a scientific calculator is required, but a graphing calculator may be used.
The Texas Instruments TI-84plus, & TI-83plus are recommended. The TI-86 & TI-89 may be used in my courses, but demonstrations will be done with the TI-84plus.

Elementary Statistics & Finite Mathematics

You must have at least a TI-83plus for Math 112, Elementary Statistics and Math 115 Finite Mathematics. The regular TI-83 may not be able to handle some problems found in the textbooks and on tests.  I would recommend the TI-84plus for these courses.

The TI-86 & TI-89 do not have the statistics functions of the TI-84/83 preloaded.  Statistics functions can be added to the TI-86.  Please see me. For their use see the TI-86 infstat manual.

Statistics functions may also be available for the TI-89.  Go to the TI site for information.  You will have to add the functions yourself.
