Description
This
course provides basic understanding in music for those with little or no
formal background. Emphasis is
placed on learning how to read musical notation.

Weekly Lab Attendance - 20pts. (One hour per week, collected at the end of the semester.)

This
will include material from the first nine weeks of class.
You
will be tested only on material after the midterm.
Although the final is not cumulative, the introductory information you
receive in the first part of the course will help you in the last part.
Assignments are to help both of us. From your responses, I can see if you need more attention in particular areas. From the questions, you can see what you should know from lecture, reading, and listening.
