NOTE: The server for this class is located in the East and thus the times shown there are EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) or EST (Eastern Standard Time).  Remember to subtract 3 hours from the server time to get the Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) or Pacific Standard Time (PST).

NOTE:  The student will need access to Microsoft Office2007 to do the assignments for this course.  The Office suit needs to include  Access 2007.  If you do not have the software on your computer you may do the hands-on work on the campus computers. The campus labs have Office 2007 loaded.  Cerritos College does not supply students computer software for home computers.

The lab assignments and links to lecture and supporting materials are found on the class web pages.   Please refer to these pages for more information.  Make sure that you print out the separate sheets that contain the lab assignments.  When saving any component of the lab include your last name in the file name/title.

Revisions to schedule will be made to the syllabus and posted on the web sites for this class. Lab, lectures, and supporting materials for this class on the college websites.    It is the students responsibility to retrieve their assignments from the Web pages or in the classroom. All assignment must be submitted to your instructor with the required printouts and  the database(s) for the assignment uploaded into webct for each assignment.   

There are  two websites for the class.  One site is located on the Cerritos College website at http://www.cerritos.edu/hohly and the other is on Webct and can be reached at http://ct.webct.com.


Remember it is critical to keep in contact with your instructor.  If you have not been heard from  for 3 weeks or are not making academic progress you will be dropped from the class.

Academic honesty is expected in this course.  The College Academic honesty/Dishonesty Policy policy will be enforced in this class.  If there are any questions as to what this policy is, see the college catalogue or the Schedule of Classes (pages 138-139).
