Instructions:

  1. The above link connects to the data files on the textbook site.  You will need to download the files for your use with the textbook.  The data file is a zip file and will need to be unzipped in order for you to use the individual files needed for the class.
  2. Note that the zip files are large and may not fit on a floppy diskette.  You should download these files to either the hard drive of your personal computer or a Zip disk.
  3. Once the zip file has been unzipped you can move the directories for the different application to your floppy diskettes and leave them on your zip disk.  Do Not leave them on the school hard drive.  It is ok if you choice to have then on your hard drive.
  4. There are three different zip files for all the needed data files required for this class.  Your textbook indicated which file is needed for a group of chapters.  Please follow the instructions in the textbook.
  5. Click on the link and it will ask you to save the files to a location you specify.  Please make sure it is going to your zip disk or hard drive.
  6. On the dialogue box that appears select the location where you want to save the files.  For example the drive of your zip disk or the directory on your hard drive.
