Logging onto Oracle iLearning

arrow pointing to the password input boxiLearning is where you will find all of your lecture text materials, quizzes, and exams.  It is important to be able to access this site.  From this site you will also be able to access the HTML_DB SQL editor which you will need when you are writing SQL statements.  Make sure you have read the FAQ sheet on browser set up, to make everything work.

Steps to access iLearning site:

  1. Go to the main page for the Oracle class.

             This will take you to the Oracle Academy home page.

arrow pointing to Student Sing in3.  Next you will click on the 'Student Sign In' link. 
         This will bring up the iLearning sign in screen.

  4.  Put your User id in the first blank.  It is had the following format: US_usca_cc_sql01_sxx  Where xx is the number that was assigned to you as a user.  Not that all of the user id is letter but the 01 and your value for xx.  Note also that only US is a capital letter, and the rest are all lower case.

Your initial password is 'welcome' note again this is all lower case.  Then click on Login.

5.  This will bring you to the initial screen for iLearning.  You should have two links, one for Database Design, which is the first section we will use and the other is Database Programming which is where we will do SQL. 

To access the Database Design click on the arrow to the left of Database Design.

6.  Next you will see the outline on the left of the screen and the content on the right of the screen.  You navigate to the sections assigned in the class syllabus and read the content on the right screen.

 

Note that the quizzes that you take are usually the last link under the section if there is one for either that sections or group of sections.   When you have completed the quiz successfully you will see a √ (check) mark next to the quiz.  If there is a x you need to repeat the quiz until you reach mastery and get the √ mark.

8. This will take you back to the Home page where you will find the log out link in the upper right corner.

8.  If you continue to have problems make sure you have read the FAQ sheet that reviews the requirements for your browser that will make everything work.
