This will download a JavaScript applet that will do your terminal emulation
Logon to Host On Demand - For Host on demand the User ID is OPR0001 and the password is student (all lower case). You will get a screen with two icons. One display icons for the server (Thumper). The other icon is to activate printing. Select the Thumper icon to connect to the iSeries 400 machine. A sign-on screen for the iSeries 400 will appear.
Open a web browser and enter the following URL

Once the
JavaScript applet has downloaded logon to the Host on Demand as above. You
will be presented with two icons, one for the display terminal connections to
the off-campus server Thumper and a printer session. Once you have
selected the display session you will be presented with the Green screen sign-on
screen. Use the same user ID as on the on-campus iSeries 400. You
will need to change your password initially as you did in lab 1.
