IBM AS/400 Program

Introduction

Cerritos College has the most up to date iSeries 400 (AS/400) program in the area. Classes are taught on an Enhanced Series Model 170 running V5R1, and other available systems such as an Advanced Series model 9402. Most of the instructors are IBM certified. Courses have a major component of hand-on training to provide the best trained graduates. This program assists in the development and upgrading of the skills needed by our local industries. Cerritos College is a member of the IBM Partners in Education Program and has formed partnerships with IBM, AS/400 plant, OCEAN user group and Computer Configuration Services (CSC). Member of local industry meeting as advisors have helped to tailor this program to meet the needs of Southern California companies and assure an available well trained workforce.
