CALL SENT OUT FOR ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
NOMINATIONS |
After 54 years of athletic competition, Cerritos
College will now begin accepting nominations for
their first class to be inducted into a newly formed
Hall of Fame. Enacted by college
President/Superintendent Dr. Linda Lacy, the college
will be creating a campus-wide Hall of Fame, with
athletics to be represented in four categories: Male
Athlete, Female Athlete,
Coach/Administrator/Supporter and Team State
Champion. There will be one inductee into each
category every year, with the first Hall of Fame
Ceremony to be held at the Cerritos Sheraton on
Thursday, April 12.
The college is allowing anyone to nominate a potential
inductee based on the
criteria, while the nomination is due no
later than November 30. Those interested in
submitting a nomination need to save the PDF file
onto their computer and then email it to Sports
Information Director John Van Gaston at
