Ryan Tracy enters his second season on
the
Cerritos College baseball staff. Last season, he
left the team before the end of the season, to play
for the Chico Outlaws of the independent Golden
Baseball League. Tracy comes to the Falcons after
coaching the varsity and junior varsity football
teams at Claremont High School.
As a pitcher at
Citrus
College
in 1998 and 1999, Tracy played for Skip Claprood and
former Falcon assistant coach Sean Severns. However,
his main sport was football, and he received a
scholarship to be the quarterback at the University
of Connecticut, where he played for head coach Randy
Edsall in 2000.
After graduating from Connecticut, Tracy
was the starting quarterback from the Dresden
Monarchs of the German Football League in 2002 and
for the Mohegan Wolves of the Arena Football League
II in 2003. |
