started 10 times… Went 2-2 with a 4.04 ERA in 75
2/3 innings of work… Was second on the team in
innings pitched… Team went 5-5 in the games he
started… Pitched eight solid innings against
Long Beach City College to earn his first win,
while he threw seven innings of shutout ball
against Los Angeles City College for his second
win… Also struck out a season-high seven in that
game… Did not earn a decision against Pasadena
City after pitching 8 2/3 innings of shutout
baseball, which was his longest outing of the
year… Played on three Suburban League
championship teams in high school… As a senior,
he was named 1st Team All-League as a
utility player and was a 2nd Team
All-Area selection… Team advanced to the CIF
semi-final game as a senior… Selected his team’s
Rookie of the Year as a junior… Most memorable
moment was when he threw a two-hit shutout in a
CIF playoff game against Norwalk High… Would
like to transfer to Pepperdine University… Is
studying to be an architect… Nicknamed “Shelly”…
Has two siblings – April (28) and Kimberly (24)…
Is the son of Sheldon and Renee McGregor… Born
in Long Beach, CA on February 22, 1986….. |
