started 28 times, with 26 of those at first
base… Batted .198 on the year with eight RBI and
one home run… Committed just two errors on the
year and registered a .993 fielding percentage…
Had a season-long five-game innings streak,
where he batted .300 (6-for-20)… Drove in a
season-high two runs against Compton College and
hit his lone home run against East Los Angeles
College… Drew 14 walks on the season, including
four against Pasadena City College… Was a 1st
Team All-Suburban League choice as a senior
outfielder in high school after batting .330
with four home runs and 27 RBI… Named All-League
Honorable Mention at first base his junior year
when he batted. 360 with five home runs and 25
RBI… Spent three years on the baseball team and
two with the basketball team… Basketball coach
was former Falcon Jason Pietsch… Would like to
transfer to any Division I school and study to
be a lawyer… Working on a minor in history…
Likes to take part in paintball games in his
spare time… Nicknamed “Monty”… Has four siblings
– Bo (32), Bobby (30), Anthony (23) and R.J.
(17)… Is the son of Ralph and Betty Montgomery…
