Valley, 22-2
When Kincaid Field was built in the

and run for extra bases. The Cerritos College
baseball team displayed everything the field was
meant to represent, as they clubbed 21 hits, with
seven doubles and two triples, in posting a
convincing 22-2 home win over Victor Valley College
in the Casey Stengel Tournament on Saturday
afternoon. The win improved the Falcons season
record to 8-1, while they are now 5-0 at home, while

01.31.07 - Baseball loses first
game of the season
For the first three games of the season, the
Cerritos College baseball team relied on their solid
pitching and timely hitting to jump out to a 3-0
start to the season. In their non-conference game at
Chaffey College on Tuesday, the Falcons were able to
get hits when they needed them, but saw their
pitching fail them. In an abbreviated eight-inning
game due to darkness and weather conditions, the
Cerritos pitchers allowed 12 walks, which resulted
in four Panther runs. On the day, Cerritos sent out
eight different pitchers, with seven of them
allowing at least one walk...[more]

season after a 3-1 home win against Glendale College
(0-4) on Sunday. Last season, the Falcons were 8-8
in one-run games and have already played two games
that have been decided by two or less runs. The team
will now travel to Chaffey College on Tuesday for a
