Appeared in 21 games and was 5-2 on the year
with two saves… Pitched 40 innings and had a
3.60 ERA and struck out 30… Spent two seasons on
the baseball team in high school… Was a 2nd
Team All-CIF and 1st Team All-Del Rio
League selection as a junior… Helped lead his
team to the league championship as a sophomore…
Most memorable moment was when he struck out
nine and allowed only two hits and two walks
against Santa Fe High… His father played
baseball at Sierra High… Nicknamed “Cheese”… Has
two siblings – Jonathan (25) and Melissa (17)…
Is the son of Tony and Rose Chiazza… Born in
Whittier, CA on August 22, 1986….. |
