San Diego Mesa College after pitching 2.3 of an

Spent four years on the baseball team and one
year on the football team in high school… Was a
2nd Team All-Suburban League
selection as a junior after going 5-4 on the

Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he pitched a
shutout and struck out 13 batters… Would like to
transfer to Cal State Long Beach… His cousin,
Mario Campos, played professional baseball in
Mexico… Likes to work on muscle cars in his
spare time… Has three siblings – Adrian (23),
Daisy (14) and Cesar (11)… Is the son of Cesar
and Angelina Campos… Born in Mexico on August
