Cerritos (2007):
Named All-Southern California and was a 1st
Team All-South Coast Conference selection as a
relief pitcher… Led the team with 25 appearances
last season and went 5-3 with a team-high nine
saves and a 1.65 ERA… Pitched 43 2/3 innings and
limited batters to a .153 batting average while
striking out 37… Also started 45 games at third
base and batted .252 with seven doubles and 15
RBI… Walked 20 times and stole three bases… Had
11 multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-6 game
with two doubles against
Cuesta College… Longest outing was against
Palomar College, when he pitched four scoreless
innings and struck out five to earn the win…
Didn’t allow his first earned run of the season
until his eighth appearance and had pitched 15
1/3 innings… Surrendered earned runs in only
three of his outings..…

Selected to the Press Telegram Dream Team
as a senior and was a two-time 1st
Team All-Serra League selection… Drafted by the
San Diego Padres after his senior year… Voted
his team’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore
and junior… Named 2nd Team All-Serra
League as a senior… In his final high school
game, he pitched a two-hit complete game with 10
strikeouts against Servite High… Also went
3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles....…
