Semi-Finals… Voted his team’s Defensive Player
of the Year as a junior, sophomore and freshman…
Batted .344 as a junior with seven doubles and
13 RBI… Team won the league title his sophomore
year…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was winning the league
title his senior year… Would like to transfer to
either UC Irvine or Cal Poly Pomona… Is studying
to be a history teacher and would also like to
coach baseball… Nicknamed “Speedo”… Has two
sisters – Ana (33) and Veronica (26)… Is the son
of Mario and Carmen Romero… Born in Whittier, CA
