Gahr HS: Was a four-time 1^st Team All-San Gabriel Valley League selection… Helped lead his team to a league championship… Named the league Most Valuable Player as a senior and was the league Pitcher of the Year his junior season… Selected 1^st Team All-CIF as a junior and senior after earning 2^nd Team recognition as a sophomore… Also a two-time selection to the Press Telegram Dream Team and was named All-State as a junior and senior… Also selected his team’s Most Valuable Player those two years… Went 7-0 on the mound with an 0.83 ERA his senior season after going 11-0 with an 0.92 ERA as a junior… Played for former Falcon player and coach Gerardo Perez..…

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he pitched six shutout innings on the mound and went 3-for-4 with a walk-off home run in a CIF 2^nd Round playoff game… Would like to transfer to either Chico State or Cal State Los Angeles… His younger brother Victor (20) was selected to play on the USA baseball team and plays at the University of San Diego… Is a DJ in his spare time… Has two other brothers – David (25) and Louie (23)… Nicknamed “G-Money”… Is the son of George and Frankie Sanchez… Born in Montebello, CA on January 4, 1988…..
