La Mirada HS: Voted his team’s Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, while also earning 1^st Team All-Area and 2^nd Team All-Suburban League recognition… Batted .385 on the year his senior season after hitting at a .495 clip his junior year… Named his team’s Rookie of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year, while earning 1^st Team all-league honors as a junior… Team won the league title and advanced to the CIF Championship game that year…..
