Mary Star of the Sea HS: As a senior, he batted .392 and led the Del Rey League with 27 RBI and was named 1^st Team all-league… Hit .289 his junior year with 19 RBI after earning All-Camino Real League honors with a .326 RBI and 17 RBI as a sophomore… Helped the team win the league championship and advanced to the CIF championship game… While on the football team, he was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year after finishing with 86 tackles and six quarterback sacks… Earned All-CIF and all-league honors as a linebacker… Was an all-league linebacker his junior year…..
