Cerritos (2009):
Named 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference… Went 9-3 on the year with one save
and a 3.55 ERA in 91 1/3 innings… Appeared in 23
games and made 11 starts, while he struck out 60
on the season… Tossed three complete games,
which included a four-hit shutout against Los
Angeles Harbor College and a four-hit game with
a season-high eight strikeouts against Mt. San
Antonio College and allowed just one run… Had a
pair of four-inning relief appearances where he
earned a win… One came against Los Angeles City
College and the other against Oxnard College,
where he didn’t allow any runs…..
El Rancho HS:
Selected as a Louisville Slugger All-American as
a senior, as well as being named the Del Rio
League Most Valuable Player after going 11-2 on
the mound with a 1.07 ERA and 107 strikeouts…
Also batted .336… Was named to the Whittier
Daily News All-Area Team and was a 1st
Team All-CIF selection and the team’s MVP… Led
them to a pair of league championships… In his
junior season, he was voted the league’s Pitcher
of the Year after posting a 9-4 record with a
1.79 ERA and 77 strikeouts and only nine walks…
Also named 1st Team all-league and
All-Area… Went 0-2 as a pitcher his sophomore
season with four strikeouts…..
Personal:
Would like to transfer to the University of
Arizona or any Division I school… His cousin
Rick Parra was drafted by the New York Yankees,
while his uncle Rene Villalobos was drafted by
the Philadelphia Phillies… Likes to umpire games
and play softball in his spare time… Nicknamed
“Fat Boy”… Has two siblings – Alex (33) and
Jacky (26)… Is the son of Raul and Victoria
Villalobos… Born in East Los Angeles, CA on
