MAJOR: LIBERAL ARTS
Saw action in seven games last season and finished with 40 tackles, which was tied for the fifth most on the team… Had his best game of the year in the final week, as he recorded 15 tackles against Santa Ana College… Also added seven stops against Riverside College… Helped lead his high school team to three Suburban League championships in his four years… As a senior, he was named the league’s Defensive Most Valuable Player after recording 120 tackles to go along with five sacks and three forced fumbles… Also selected All-CIF, All-Area, All-Los Angeles Times and named to the Lakewood Youth Hall of Fame… Was his team’s captain… In his junior year, he recorded 68 stops with seven sacks to be named the league’s Most Valuable Lineman… Also named to the Press Telegram Dream Team… In his freshman season his team went on to win the CIF championship and was his team’s Most Valuable Offensive Player… Also spent two seasons on the wrestling team… Most memorable moment was when he recorded 14 tackles (including the game-winner) and a sack against Western High... Would like to transfer to UCLA, Florida or San Diego State… Enjoys arts and crafts in his spare time…Has two siblings – Tim (23), who played soccer at Mayfair High and Cypress College and Priscilla (16)… Is the son of Sandra Alonzo… Born in Bellflower, CA on April 3, 1987…..
