Was a 1st Team All-Eastern
League choice after recording 82 tackles and two
quarterback sacks as a senior… Helped lead his team to
the finals of the 3-A City Championships… Had 23 stops
in his junior season… Also spent two seasons in the
track and field team… Most memorable moment was when he
had 13 tackles against Los Angeles Poly High and when he
made a tackle on the last play of the game just shy of
the end zone… His brother Sergio (20) played baseball
for one season at Long Beach State… Has two other
siblings – Christopher (13) and Israel (6)… Is the son
of Armando and Patricia Cervantes… Born in Los Angeles,
CA on September 9, 1987….. |
