primarily as a punter… Was a 1st Team
All-Sunset League selection as a senior, while earning
his team’s Defensive Player of the Year award… Posted 65
tackles and three interceptions as a senior after
recording 35 stops and two interceptions his junior
year… Was a 2nd Team All-League choice as a
junior, as his team won the league title… Had 20 tackles
as a sophomore… Also spent three years on the track and
field team and reached the CIF Finals as a junior… His
team finished seventh in the state championships in
track during his sophomore season… Most memorable moment
was when he stopped Lakewood High running back Luther
Brown from reaching the end zone to preserve his team’s
lead… Would like to transfer to USC and aspires to be
either a police officer or an electrician… His uncle
played football at Downey High… Likes to go surfing in
his spare time… Has twin siblings – Amber (8) and Austin
(8)… Is the son of Martie and Michaelis Giambona… Born
in Long Beach, CA on December 22, 1987….. |
