Is a strong candidate for All-Conference
and All-State honors… Can play both guard and tackle…
Named 2nd Team All-Mission Conference
National Division last season… Started all 10 games last
season and was one of the most consistent linemen all
season… Was a two-time 1st Team All-Olympic
League selection in high school… Also named his team’s
Most Valuable Lineman as a senior, while he also earned
All-CIF and All-Area honors… Also spent time on the
defensive line and registered 65 tackles and 13 sacks as
a senior… Registered 72 stops as a junior, which was the
second most on the team… Was named his team’s Lineman of
the Year as a sophomore… Most memorable moment was when
he had nine tackles and two sacks in a win over La Habra
High as a junior… Is also working on a minor in criminal
justice and is studying to be a hunting guide… Would
like to transfer to Arizona State University… Likes to
go hunting and fishing in his spare time… Nicknamed “Big
Hoss”… Has two siblings – Summer (20) and Landon (17)…
Is the son of Steve and Anita Haagsma… Born in Norwalk,
CA on October 18, 1983….. |
