Cerritos College Athletics - 2006 Football Bio: Anthony Haynes

Was a red-shirt last season… Played his sophomore and junior seasons on the football team… Concentrated on track and field as a senior… Led his team in pancake blocks both seasons… In track, he won the shot put five times and the discus three times… Also spent time on the basketball and volleyball teams… Most memorable moment was when he scored 22 points with six rebounds and three blocked shots in a game against Rowland Heights High and when he had seven flatback blocks against Cerritos High… Aspires to transfer to any Division 1 school that wants him, but prefers Oregon State University, the University of Texas or the University of Oregon… Is studying to be an attorney… Uncle played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers… Likes to play basketball in his spare time…Nicknamed “Big Haynes”… Has five siblings – Erin (25), Melvin (22), Brandi (22), Terren (14) and Lauren (7)… Is the son of Darrin and LeQuita Hodge… Born in Tarzana, CA on August 12, 1987…..
