Had 23 tackles last year including a
season-high four stops against El Camino College…
Recorded a tackle for loss against Orange Coast College…
Was a member of the Falcon track and field team this
past season… Named his team’s Most Valuable Defensive
Lineman as a senior in high school after recording 35
tackles and six quarterback sacks… As a junior, he had
25 tackles and three sacks after registering 25 tackles
as a sophomore… Helped lead his team to the San Gabriel
Valley League title as a junior… Also spent three years
on the track team and broke the discus record three
different times… Set the record at 134’ 3” as a
sophomore and then came back his junior year to throw
144’ 6”… Concluded his career with a new record of 150’
7½”, while he also threw the shot put 50’ 7”… Won the
league title in the shot put and came in second in the
discus as a senior… Also won the league title in the
discus as a junior… Most memorable moment was when he
recorded five tackles with a sack and caused fumble
against Lynwood High and when he broke the discus
record.… Working on a minor in business and would like
to transfer to UCLA… Three of his cousins played sports
in high school… Likes to write poetry in his spare time
and would like to publish a book on poetry… Nicknamed
“Big Will”… Is the son of Charlie and Elaine Brooks… Has
one sibling – Charletta Brooks (17)… Born in Torrance,
CA on June 23, 1986….. |
