Was a member of the Falcon track and field team last season… Placed fifth in the Southern California Championships in the 100 meters, just missing out on advancing to the state championships… Spent two years on the football team and four on the track team in high school… As a junior, he accounted for eight touchdowns and earned his team’s Most Valuable Defensive Back as a sophomore after picking off four passes and also scored six touchdowns… Had the majority of his accolades while on the track team… Helped lead the team to the state championship as a senior and ran a leg of the 800-meter relay team that won the state title… Named the team’s Most Valuable Player as a freshman, junior and senior… Team was the state runner-up his freshman season… Posted personal best times in the 200 meters (21.3) and 400 meters (47.3)… Most memorable moment was when he picked off two passes in a game and when he returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown… Would like to transfer to Arizona State University… Nicknamed “Peanut”… Has three siblings – Demario (17), Mickayla (12) and Rayvon (10)… Is the son of Frank Mingo and Tomiko Barnes… Born in Las Vegas, NV…..
