Cerritos College Athletics - 2006 Football Bio: Jason Nutt

Had 24 tackles last season, which included a season-high four stops against Mt. San Antonio College, Riverside College and Golden West College… Also had two tackles for loss and a quarterback sack against Mt. San Antonio College… Was moved to defensive end after playing linebacker in high school… Named 1^st Team All-Del Rio League as a senior in high school after recording 90 tackles and six quarterback sacks… Also voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… In his junior year he was named 2^nd Team All-League and was his team’s Rookie of the Year… Posted 95 tackles and 16 quarterback sacks that season… While on the junior varsity team, he was their Most Valuable Player on offense as a sophomore and on defense as a freshman… Also spent two years on the track team… Most memorable moment was when he had 10 tackles and two sacks in a game against La Serna High… Likes to go dirt bike riding and go to the river in his spare time… Has three siblings – Eddie (25), Jerrad (20) and Chelsea (12)… Is the son of Ed and Kristie Nutt… Jerrad is a wide receiver and teammate this season… Born in Long Beach, CA on July 26, 1984…..
