Finished third on the team in rushing
last season with 395 yards on 63 carries with two
touchdowns… Had a season-high 83 yards on 11 carries and
one score against Golden West College after running for
80 yards on 11 carries the week before against
Saddleback College… Also caught five passes for 43 yards
out of the backfield and returned two kickoffs for 15
yards against Long Beach City College… Named the Empire
League Most Valuable Player as a senior in high school
after rushing 197 times for 1,802 yards and 34
touchdowns… Also named 1st Team All-CIF,
Orange County All-Star and was his team’s Most Valuable
Player… Was a 1st Team All-Los Angeles
Times choice at linebacker… Three-time 1st
Team All-League selection… Rushed for 1,226 yards and
nine scores as a junior and 1,317 yards and 11
touchdowns his sophomore year… Named 2nd Team
All-County as a junior and earned All-State
Underclassman honors his sophomore year… Also spent
three years on the track team and two seasons with the
basketball team… Most memorable moment was when he
rushed 46 times for 386 yards in a game and when he had
a 99-yard touchdown run… Would like to transfer to the
University of Washington… Nicknamed “Rylo”… Has one
brother, Ricky (25)… Is the son of Ricky and Derene
Thomas… Born on January 28, 1987….. |
